# Modules Carbon allows builders to create workflows out of **modules** that allow users to access predefined versions of Foundry applications. In other words, a Carbon module is a parameterized application that opens in a Carbon tab. Modules can be linked together in [navigation](../modules-navigation/index.md) workflows by connecting their inputs and outputs; for instance, a Carbon workflow for an airline may start with an object view of `Aircraft` objects before guiding the user to a premade Quiver analysis. Available Carbon modules include: * Objects, object sets, and object types in [Object views](../../object-views/overview/index.md) * [Workshop modules](../../workshop/overview/index.md) * [Quiver dashboards](../../quiver/dashboards-overview/index.md) * [Vertex graphs](../../vertex/overview/index.md) * [Slate applications](../../slate/overview/index.md) * [Searches in Object Explorer](../../object-explorer/search-objects/index.md) * [Notepad documents](../../notepad/overview/index.md) (read-only)
